In a world of faceless online retailers in hard to reach destinations, OneDeko is a refreshing change. Our main shop has been open in Old Spitalfields Market, in central London, since 2001, and our 2nd shop on the fashionable Wanstead High St has been open for 5 years. In that time we have evolved to specialise in modern contemporary furniture and interior design.
Spitalfields Branch
Old Spitalfields market has twice been voted Best London Market, by readers of Time Out magazine, because of its fantastic mix of original market wares, great international food/wine and eclectic mixture of independent shops. .
OneDeko's (2000sqft) shop is located in the heart of the market, opposite Meson Los Barilles, (an authentic, family owned, Tapas bar) and just beneath Wagamamma who are on the 1st floor. The shop has been open for over 10 years and is now firmly established amongst the regular visitors to the market. Onedeko are proud to have been a defining feature in the development of what has become London's top retail and entertainment area.
Onedeko Wanstead Branch
Wanstead High Street used to be one of those undiscovered leafy gems waiting for its moment to arrive. In recent years many trendy boutiques and coffee bars have sprung up along this low rise, village like, high street. Onedeko's newly refurbished shop is located next to the tube station, opposite Majestic wine and Starbucks.

Alternative Fashion Week 2012
Monday 16 - Saturday 20 April 2012, Free
Alternative Fashion Week at Spitalfields Market is a showcase of the most original and creative collections by a fresh crop of new designers with truly innovative ideas.
Alternative Fashion Week is where all the best new designers are to be discovered. It provides a genuine alternative for them to present their work directly to the press, public and the fashion industry. Designers come from all over the UK and other parts of the world including Italy, Spain, Norway, Poland, Bulgaria, Uruguay and Sri Lanka.
Over 80 designers 14 different designers to show each day.
Original and recycled textiles are a major feature this year. There’ll be womenswear and menswear from the sublime to the sensational, with an emphasis on environmental awareness and ethical sourcing
All fashion shows are open to the press and public daily at 1.15pm. The shows will be accompanied by contemporary Jazz band The Mannequins.
Fashion Market
A Fashion Market surrounds the catwalk from 11am to 5pm each day. The market isa shopping sensation with stalls selling an exotic range of clothes, textiles and accessories
Additional Saturday Fashion Show
Due to overwhelming popular demand AFW 2012 is being extended to Saturday 21 April to include original designers currently trading regularly in the Spitalfields Traders Market. All designs may be purchased as they come off the catwalk.

Press and buyers are invited to reserve front row seats at each Fashion Show by contacting ALTERNATIVE ARTS on 020 7375 0441 orinfo@alternativearts.co.uk. Special spaces will be allocated for photographers and film crews and wheelchair users.

Saturday Markets at Old Spitalfields Market
The Saturday Market is taking place inside the covered market hall, which is home to London’s leading independent design, crafts and fashion boutiques, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars.
Old Spitalfields Traders
With all of the best that’s on offer from Old Spitalfields Market’s current six days of trading – including the giant Sunday market - visitors can browse a wide-array of goods, from fashion, accessories, jewellery, furniture, art, collectables and a fabulous collection of mouth-watering fresh produce.
Designers / Makers Market
Taking place on the third Saturday of every month, the new Designers / Makers Market features a wide variety of crafts, including ceramics, fashion, art, furniture and jewellery.
Antiques and Collectors Flea Market
The South East’s biggest antiques and collectors market – normally held on a Thursday – is making an additional appearance at Old Spitalfields Market on the fourth Saturday of every month. Offering an eclectic assortment of gems, there will be items as diverse as Bowler hats, William Morris prints, antique chests, one-off grandfather clocks and 1960s smock dresses - amongst many of the delights to be found.
Judy’s Affordable Vintage
Judy’s Vintage Village is taking place on the first Saturday of each month. Going one better than any event held before, filling all 150 stalls with vintage, retro and reworked items each month. Featuring sections from fashion to haberdashery, each monthly market looks set to showcase of the best of British vintage, with prices at an all-time low.

It's not just new designers at Alternative Fashion Week in Spitalfields. The catwalk will be bristling with super models of the future with many arriving hot from the special model training course run for 6 weeks prior to Alternative Fashion Week.
